Happiness is a F*cking Lie
You must be wondering why someone would say that. Well, let me explain.

The idea that you need to be happy all the time. Seriously, where did this ridiculous idea come from? Because, I don’t know about you, but if I had to be happy all the time, I would be stuck in a strength shirt in a padded white room in 5 minutes.
Many people around the world are looking for the ultimate happiness and this is a problem because it does not exist and it is totally impossible to find ultimate happiness because we are the fucking punching bag of a guy called emotions.
Most of us were created with the idea that happiness is the final goal of life. We were told to pursue our dreams, find true love and have a life full of achievements and success. But the truth is that happiness is just a passing emotion, a temporary state of mind that comes and goes.

Are you ready?
It’s like trying to catch a butterfly with your hands. The more you try to grab her, the more she runs away from you. I don’t know if this metaphor is valid for the argument but fuck it.
So, if happiness is not the final goal, what is it?
Well, I’ll tell you: it’s the experience. Life is about the experiences we have, good or bad. It’s about the ups and downs, the victories and defeats, the joys and sorrows. It’s about connecting with other people, doing something meaningful and finding a sense of purpose in our lives.
And here’s the funny part, life is an emotional roller coaster, and that’s good. That’s how it should be. If everything were perfect all the time, we would be bored and dissatisfied. It is adversity that makes us grow, learn and become more resilient. And yes, it can be shit at the moment, but it is in these difficult times that we really learn who we are and what we are capable of.
So, don’t worry so much about being happy all the time. Instead, embrace the experiences of life, good and bad. Happiness will come and go, but experiences last forever. And if you can find meaning and purpose in your life, if you can connect with other people and contribute to something bigger than yourself, well, then you are doing it right.
Conclusion
So, that’s it. Happiness is a fucking lie, but life is an incredible experience and full of ups and downs. Embrace this and see where life takes you. And remember, if nothing else works out, there is always pizza and beer.
